Moving large presses takes a bit more than calling up a couple of your buddies and a box van. Its quite the production in moving and maneuvering the machines that make it all happen for creating HiPer Technology by WELD Wheels.
March is here and the big HiPer move is under way. Things are quickly starting to take shape in the WELD plant. In just the last 3 days, we’ve brought in 3 VanDorn injection molding machines and are getting the space wired and set up.
HiPer’s production staff worked hard to build inventory and components to make sure customers would continue to get the best in super structural carbon fiber composite wheels for the powersports market.
With HiPer in the Kansas City facility, customers can expect enhanced product quality and design, access to the best forging processes in the wheel industry and improved inventory controls. WELD’s nearly 50 years of race engineering is the basis for all our wheel designs, and HiPer will get to enjoy that same dedication to winning performance. Over the next few weeks we will share the progress on our social media and right here in our newsletters so you too can see the transformation taking shape.
This is truly an exciting time for WELD and HiPer Technology. Everyone here, from engineering and manufacturing, to marketing, sales and distribution is committed to making sure the move into Kansas City is successful for the best ATV/UTV Wheel customers around.
