CCW Forged Performance released the new TS12 Corsair R-Spec to the world just in time for racing season. Ultra-lightweight, the TS12 features monoblock construction from forged aircraft quality aluminum alloy, in weights as low as 18.6 pounds. The 18″ and 19″ diameter wheels offer the best of strength and durability, having passed a punishing 3,000 pound (per wheel) cornering fatigue test load at 300,000 cycles.
The new TS12 Corsair R-Spec wheels will make their competition debut March 4th-6th on the Honda Accord driven by Owner/Driver Shea Holbrook during the Pirelli World Challenge (PWC) event at Circuit of the Americas. Holbrook, a 6-time PWC winner, chose the CCW wheels specifically because of the competitive advantage they offer. “The Honda Accord is one of the heaviest touring cars in the field. Therefore, we took all necessary measures for weight reductions and CCW was able to help us this that,” said Holbrook. “I’m in awe over the entire CCW process but I am most surprised by how ultra-lightweight the wheels are at only 18.6 pounds.”
