Fitment Questions

Fitment Questions

Determining the appropriate wheel size for your vehicle involves considering factors like diameter, width, bolt pattern, offset, and center bore.  Start by checking your vehicle's owner's manual or manufacturer's website for information.

Wheel size is determined by diameter x width and offset (e.g., 18x9 +35). If you need help finding the right wheels for your vehicle please use our configurator or call our sales team at 1.800.788.9353, they are available to help you find the right fit for your vehicle.

Common bolt patterns include 4x100, 5x114.3, 6x135, etc.

The offset refers to the distance between the wheel's mounting surface and its centerline. Positive offset wheels have the mounting surface towards the outside of the wheel, while negative offset wheels have the mounting surface towards the inside. Match the offset to your vehicle's requirements to ensure proper fitment.

The distance from the back pad to the furthest point of the inner lip.

In a square setup, all four wheels have the same width and diameter, and the tires have the same size and aspect ratio on all four corners of the vehicle. In a staggered setup, the wheels and tires on the front and rear axles have different widths and/or diameters. Usually, the rear wheels are wider and have larger diameter tires compared to the front wheels.

Ensuring compatibility between wheels and tires is crucial for proper fitment and performance.  Usually if you are replacing OE wheels with WELD wheels of the same size, the tires will fit.  If you decide to go large in diameter our team of wheel specialists can help you find the right tire size for your wheels.
